ATVO informs that, given the announcement of a national general strike for the entire day (24 hours) tomorrow, Friday 3rd October 2025 - declared without prior legal notice in accordance with paragraph 7 of Article 2 of Law 146 of 1990 - and the concomitant demonstration to be held starting at 8:00 a.m. with a picket line at the Mestre railway station and at Campo Santa Margherita in Venice, with a feared blockade of the “Ponte della Libertà” bridge, as well as of the related traffic in both directions starting at 9:00 a.m., minimum services will be provided in the event of a 24-hour strike, without prejudice to compliance with the guaranteed time slots of 06:00-09:00 and 12:00-15:00.
In view of the possible evolution of events, the possible continuation of the blockade and on the basis of information received from the public authorities, any further changes will be communicated via the company website and social media channels.
In any case, it is advisable to avoid unneccesary travel or to use alternative routes to vehicle access on the “Ponte della Libertà” bridge.
Finally, please note that the railway service operated by Trenitalia and other public transport operators is also subject to strike action.
