Bomb day – 2nd february, 2020 – changes in the service

We wish to inform our customers that, following to the discovery of a war explosive device in Marghera and to the consequent necessary clearance operations, on Sunday February 2nd 2020, according to the Order emanating from the Prefect of Venice, a total block of traffic will be arranged and in particular of all means of transport from Venice to Mestre and opposite direction from 7:30am to 12:30pm, or otherwise up to the end of the emergency.

From 7:30am to 12:30pm (or otherwise up to the end of the operations), following to closure of traffic of the Via della Libertà and Ponte della LibertàCavalcavia di San Giuliano and parts of the Viale San MarcoViale Vespucci and Via Forte Margheraall lines will head to Mestre Railway Station; All bus stops from Mestre railway station to Venice Piazzale Roma and the bus stops of San GiulianoVia Forte Marghera Sport Facilities and Via Forte Marghera in front of the headquarters of Città Metropolitana Administration will be suspended.
 
To Treviso Airport an additional trip will be set up, with departure at 7.20am from Venezia Piazzale Roma and all previous services will be strengthened.
To Marco Polo Airport last useful trip departing from Venezia Piazzale Roma will be at 7.20am.
The bus service to Cortina d’Ampezzo will depart from Mestre railway station at 8.05, whereas the usual departure from Venezia Piazzale Roma at 7:50am will be not possible. To use the next service to Cortina with departure at 10:10am from Mestre railway station, it is advisable to be there well in advance or to reach - using the boat services Alilaguna (Orange or Blue Line) - the departure stop at the P-Bus at Marco Polo Airport in time for departure at 10:30am.
Between 7:30am and 12:30pm the only way to leave the city of Venice will be with the boat services of Alilaguna Company. In particular the Orange Line from the pier named “Guglie” will be the useful one to reach Marco Polo Airport of Venice. For all further information please see the website https://www.alilaguna.it/
